Built in 1923 as a Pavillion bar, the building has been carefully repurposed by the Hessling family into a coffee-serving congregation room — a tight-knit place to study the Bible, ask hard questions, and feel completely at home.
String lights run the length of the rafters. Saddles and lanterns share shelves with bibles and hymnals. There's a French press warming on the bar and a guitar leaning against a pew. Every Sunday morning and Tuesday evening, the room fills up — and the conversation runs deep.
The teaching is rigorous. The welcome is wide open. Whether you've read scripture cover to cover or you're walking in for the first time, you'll find your seat here.
Every week, Patti walks the congregation through scripture — book by book, chapter by chapter — pulling the text into the rhythm of everyday life.
Patti is a mission-focused intellectual, historian, and musician who reads the world through a biblical lens. She's an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene, holds a Bachelor's in Physical & Health Education from Northwest Nazarene University, and a Master's in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming.
She currently serves as a Regional Representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Fremont County — meeting kids, coaches, and families where they are, and pointing them toward Christ. At Paskel's Place she leads two weekly Bible studies, teaching deep, high-level scripture in a way that's accessible to anyone who walks in the door.
Alongside her, Del Hessling — Patti's husband — serves as the administrator and coordinator of all Paskel's Place functions, keeping the doors open, the coffee on, and every gathering running the way it should.

Patti has been writing songs since she was fourteen — drawn from real life, real faith, and a long road of quiet listening. Backed by her family band, The Band Paskel, the latest album was recorded in Nashville and is streaming now.
Past projects include Gonna Get Through This, songs written for individuals with special needs, and worship music written specifically for The Shop's Sunday service.

No dress code, no membership, no minimum scripture knowledge required. Just show up.
Our main weekly gathering. Breakfast is on from 10:00–10:30, then Patti walks us through the current series — chapter by chapter.
Dinner is served 6:30–7:00, then we open the Bible. Smaller, quieter, and ideal if you can't make Sunday morning.
